I paid a $120 for my first Plantronic, and I got the same thing for half the price at Amazon. Mine is in my ear for at least 12 hours a day, yes I have to charge it after a couple of hours, but people tell me they can hear me better on this bluetooth than on the droid I use. Very happy with price and product.

I have had 4 Jabra's and 7 Plantronics blue-tooth wireless headsets over the years and this Plantronics Discovery 975 is undoubtedly the best yet. Similar to the old Discovery 649, this headset comes with a mobile charging station. The 975 is perfectly clear both in sound quality as well as transmission quality to the listener on the other end. Background noise is almost non existent in most situations and comfort is unmatched. I personally don't like the over the ear style headset and the simplicity of the Discovery models have always been a plus in my book. Mostly, I hate having to plug in an ear piece when it inevitably starts to loose power at the end of the day. The discovery models have always remedied this flaw by allowing for a transportable and totally unique capability of on the go charging. The charging case that comes with it keeps you charged for days at a time without ever having to plug into a wall charger. Brilliant design and so user friendly at the same time, you won't want to use anything else ever again . . . . except for maybe the next Discovery that comes out. Once you get used to it, it will be hard to ever go back to any other headset that doesn't have the on the fly charging option. Don't even think about if you should purchase this headset, get one as fast as you can and hang on to it for dear life. Keep it in it's charger case when you aren't using it and you will never loose it. Seperate them for any extended period of time and you may be buying another one. The charging case makes it harder to loose and keeps it topped off on battery power, so when you aren't using it - put it back in the case.
